The Richmond Kickers are Richmond's professional soccer team, competing in the United Soccer League's First Division (formerly known as the "A-League"), just a step below Major League Soccer. The Richmond Kickers serve as registrar's for the CVSA, and in the front office feature teen-hearthrob (and currently single) Paul Sterbenz, a fixture with the CVSA Premier Division Lions FC. Piccola Italy is a VCU institution, and they have expanded and added a wing for a more family-friendly atmosphere! And fine dining without the "hassles". 3 Monkeys is the newest of the CVSA's sponsors. Just opened in November 2004, 3 Monkeys is owned CVSA Players Johnny X. Giavos & George "The Iranian" Tsipas. With a freshly painted interior and spacious all-weather deck, this Fan establishment needs to be staple on every players social circuit. Four flat-screens provide round-the-clock soccer action.
